Welcome to Hostbrother! By using our services, you agree to comply with our Terms of Service. These terms govern your use of our hosting, VPS, reseller, and other services.

Eligibility: You must be 18 years or older to use our services.

2. Payment & Billing

Accepted Payment Methods: PayPal, Credit/Debit Cards, UPI.

Payments must be made in advance. If a payment fails, your service will be suspended 24 hours after the due date.
If payment is not received within 7 days after suspension, your service will be terminated permanently.

Refund Policy:

  • We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for monthly/3-month plans and a 45-day money-back guarantee for other billing terms.
  • Domain purchases are non-refundable.
  • If we terminate your service due to abuse or other violations, a prorated refund will be issued for the unused period.
  • No setup fees or hidden charges.

3. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts due to:

  • Non-payment (suspension after 24 hours, termination after 7 days).
  • Abuse reports (malware, phishing, spam, illegal activities, etc.).
  • Violations of our prohibited activities policy (listed below).
  • After termination, backups can be retained within 15days.

4. Data Retention & Privacy Policy

Backups:

  • We take daily backups, stored for 30 days.
  • If your service is terminated, backups may be available for retrieval within 15 days.

Privacy & Government Requests:

We may provide your data to government authorities if requested with valid legal proof.

5. Prohibited Content & Activities

Applicable to All Services (Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS, etc.)

❌ Illegal adult content (as per user country and Indian law).❌ Warez, nulled scripts, phishing, malware.❌ Mass mailing & bulk email marketing.❌ IRC & Proxy Servers.❌ Crypto mining, torrenting, spamming, illegal streaming.❌ Storing backups or compressed files (.zip, .tar.gz, .wpress, etc.) not related to website operations.

6. Resource Limits & Fair Usage Policy

Hosting Suitability:

Some packages include "unlimited" services (disk space, bandwidth, etc.). While we do not impose strict limits, excessive resource usage may require optimization or plan upgrades.
We monitor shared and reseller hosting accounts to ensure fair usage and prevent service degradation for others.

Unlimited Allowances:

"Unlimited" services are subject to fair usage policies.
If your resource usage is deemed excessive, we may request that you optimize your website, configure a CDN, or upgrade your plan.

7. Support Policy

We provide support for:

  • Software & system issues related to our services.
  • Server-related problems and control panel assistance.

We do not provide support for:

  • Third-party software/plugin issues (e.g., WordPress themes & plugins).
  • Website coding, file, or folder issues that you manage.

Response Time:

  • Support tickets & Live chat queries are handled as soon as possible.
  • Response times may be delayed up to 24 hours or more based on workload.

8. Backups & Data Loss

JetBackup provides daily backups, but we do not guarantee successful data recovery.
Customers are responsible for downloading and storing their own backups.
We are not liable for data loss caused by hardware failure, corruption, or external factors.

9. Uptime Guarantee & Maintenance

We provide a 99.99% uptime guarantee, but downtime may occur due to:

  • Hardware or software failures beyond our control.
  • Scheduled maintenance, which will be announced on our status page.
  • Disaster recovery situations, which will be reported accordingly.
  • Compensation is not guaranteed for downtime.

10. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
Customers will be notified of major changes.
Continued use of our services constitutes agreement to any updated terms.
